8/28/2023 0 Comments Wild hearts wellness![]() ![]() I highly recommend this clinic and will continue going there until I leave Beijing. The new community talking stick circle with Pam is kicking off tonight from 7:15-8:45 Bring your life experiences, troubles, thrills whatever needs to be shared and witnessed. Note that the Building D of TUS is very accessible by bicycle as there are bike lanes throughout this very low traffic area. He even went over the time I paid for just to make sure I had a really good massage. They offer a full range of Chinese massage services including body and foot massage. I don't think it would be a problem if you were unable to speak Chinese as it's not too difficult to gesture or point out what it is you need in a massage to the technician. Although no English is spoken at the clinic, the menu of services is in English and Chinese. He was very patient in trying to understand what I needed and proceeded to give me one of the best massages I have ever had. I only have very basic Chinese speaking skills and was able to communicate with him. Zhou is excellent.( He told me his full Chinese name but I couldn't quite pick it up). This clinic, in the TUS (Tsinghua Science Park office complexes), is a mere 5 minute stroll from the South East Gate of Tsinghua. Professional and skillful massage in a clean (no frills) environment, reasonably priced and close to Tsinghua University in the Wudaokou area of Beijing. ![]() I believe in treating the whole person and supporting mental wellness. Thanks to Ysolde-voyages's review below, I have finally found what I've been looking for. Resiliency and connection The body is not separate from our minds, hearts, and spirits. I am studying at Tsinghua University this term and have been looking for a professional Chinese massage clinic near the university for some time. With a few tweaks it could truly be a five star spa. The staff is super friendly and likes to practice English while customers practice Chinese. Overall I have been a happy customer for nearly three years. The colors are a bit dated and on on several occasions, the polish is dry in the bottle. Also, the selection of nail polish colors while broad, needs to be refreshed. No one goes for a relaxing nail appointment to get pestered for paying additional fees. These are usually 100+ RMB and at 350+ RMB do the service this should be included. Further for the price of mani/pedis there are too many add-ons pay extra for polish quick dry or pay extra for dry skin serum. I do have a few issues in the nail area though - not enough to stop me from going, but certainly hope this improves: cleanliness is sometimes hit or miss and I sometimes have to remind the person working on me to clean or replace an instrument. Wendy, Jessie, and Betty take great pride in their work. The prices are a bit high by Beijing standards but they do try to step up the quality. The massage was good, the masseuse used force and concentrated on my problem areas. The foot massage is by far a favorite quick but thorough relaxation treat. On the plus side it is a convenient location for mani/pedi and massage. I hope you find some support in this video, as well as the love and care I am sending out to you and yours.I was pleasantly surprised to discover Dragonfly Spa near our Beijing apartment.
