![]() I think the game has some design flaw if there is too much loot dropping and you need to filter out 90%? Why does it drop in the first place? Should the loot amount be smaller and the chances to find quality items higher if you play higher difficulty? How about D1 style? You need to hover the mouse on the ground to see what dropped ?:) Only 20 years I have been able to do that but not anymore.īasically I just flash the loot couple times then keep it held down if I need to pick up something.īut yeah I kinda like the D3 style that it shows it for a while and then you have to reclick it. Some, yes, but this one doesn't really matter. Ill wait until it fades into obscurity and drops to a more reasonable price, namely 10$. I mean, honestly, I am not picking up this $40 cashgrab right away anyway. They are bots, do you really think they would be inconvenienced by one input that requires a constant press? What makes you think they stop at botting? How do you know that they don't already have a program that always shows loot, or, even a step further, scans the loot and auto picks it up anyway. By doing what they do, namely farm items and gold to sell for real money transactions. While I am at it, lets make one thing clear, bots are cheating. If its an option, then you don't have to use it. In fact, it can be argued that it means that you are playing harder, as you are processing more information while "ruining the immersion" instead of finishing your fight and processing it after. The game is not on autopilot if you can physically see the items dropping when toggled. What exactly breaks the game about not having to hold down alt if you don't want to? In the millions of hills to die on, why is this yours? Where is "strategy" in the option to toggle items. i want to know when someone joins my game that there ready to get serious. Plus it would make bots easier sense they could do an easy screen scan for what items to pick up without having to send any suspicious input to the server, but that's only a minor consideration as far as i'm conserned.Īnd as a matter of principal, it should not be added as an option because i don't want my public games to be flooded with lazies who want to sleepwalk there way through the game without using any strategy. ![]() save the rainbow-fest for D3, D4, and immortal, thank you. allowing that an an option would be a slap in the face to everyone who respected D2 for its integrity both as a game and as a work of Art. its immersion braking and unbecoming of a serious game. I can't stand having labels and colored item names pop up all over my screen while i'm trying to play. If they add always-on item labels i WILL NOT buy D2R or even think about playing it. Like seriously, not everybody thinks that the quality of there life is somehow improved by having a game that plays itself for you on autopilot while you sit back and not use any thinking or tactics or strategy at all, and you never have to choose which button to press or how to use your precious seconds strategically. ![]() the 201X'ers on this sub who were never even borned when D2 came out keep insisting on changing every single feature of D2 to be exactly like D3 under the guise of "hurrrr muh QoL, muh QoL, muh QoL". D2 is for people who like actually hunting for items and using strategy, plese don't try to ruin it for us, send your auto-everything suggestions to the devs at immortal and D4 instead. It will definitely take some trial and error, and it can still be worth it to upgrade gear that's not near a breakpoint if you're struggling to kill mobs and bosses with ease.įor more Diablo 4 news and guides, check out How to Fix Diablo 4 Stuttering & Lagging on Pro Game Guides.Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread Upgrading a weapon to push it into the next tier could unlock +3 for the Tornado skill, and that's why it's important to save your materials for gear that's close to a breakpoint. Weapons and gear will typically show you how high you can upgrade something, and it might say it stops at +2 Tornado, but that's because it's in a certain Item Level Breakpoint. An example of this would be having a weapon that grants you +2 of a certain skill, let's use Tornado in this case if you're leveling a Druid. Doing this would typically ramp up your damage significantly, so it's worth doing. If you have a piece of gear you like to use that's near one of these breaking points, that would be something you should prioritize with your upgrades.
